Men’s Suit and Tuxedo Measurements

Suits are ordered based on jacket size.  To determine the right jacket size, measure the person’s chest.

 TO MEASURE YOUR CHEST: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms.  Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest.  Suit sizes are equal to your chest size.

 For example, if you have a 38” chest, you would wear a size 38 suit.

TO CONFIRM YOUR SUIT SIZE:  Measure your waist or the waistband of a comfortable, well fitting pair of pants and add 6 inches.  Our Suits, (unless noted otherwise), will have a pant size of 6” less than the jacket size ordered.

 Example: Suit size 42 jacket comes with 36” waist trousers.

 HEIGHT: 5’ to 5’5 ½” (SHORT); 5’6” to 5’10½” (REGULAR) 5’11” to 6’3” (LONG)

 Example: If you are 5’9”, however, you know that you have long arms, you may want to order a LONG.

 Suits can also be ordered based on height and weight.  Please not that not all bodies are the same, this is a standard table that works for most men.
